In November 2016 we organized a first focused meeting in the concept of Academia Meets Industry. The main goals here are to foster collaborations and to show young scientists that research is not limited to Academia. Based on the huge success joined we decided to organize a second event.

The format of the meeting will again be based on four invited lectures; two from the academic field, two proposed by UCB giving the viewpoint of the industry. Students will be given the opportunity to submit a related abstract then can be presented in a 5 minutes pitch. The afternoon will end with a networking reception with speed dating where we specifically will match academic people with industry people.

BMIC is a young ESMI group and as such part of the society. The BMIC meets Industry event is organized under the umbrella of the European Society for Molecular Imaging.
